St. Johns Iceland Trip 2008
St John’s Senior School
Geography Expeditions:
Iceland
Intrepid St. John’s geographers embarked upon an expedition to the Arctic Circle. Exploring the island’s spectacular frozen environment, traversing glaciers, and journeying through the snow filled rift valley. Our high spirited St. Johnians also experienced the tectonic delights of the Blue Lagoon geo-thermal pool on the Reykjavik Peninsula, and after cosy nights tucked away in log cabins ventured to the unique Mid-Atlantic Ridge. |
